Kids. Cops. Community.

Our Mission

Boca Raton PAL’s mission is to provide programs and activities that promote character, integrity, physical and mental wellness, and positive personal growth. Through these experiences, participants build self-esteem, strengthen decision making skills, become better citizens, and improve their overall quality of life.

The impact reaches far beyond the program, as these young people grow into positive role models who inspire their peers and the next generation in their communities.

Youth Programs

Boca Raton PAL offers free youth programs that combine athletics with mentorship, giving local kids a safe place to train, compete, and connect with coaches and officers who show up for them.

Boxing has always been the hallmark of Boca Raton PAL, and it remains at the heart of what we do. As we revitalize our programs for a new generation, we’re preparing to expand into additional sports in the near future — and because everything we offer is free, cost is never a barrier to a child taking part.

Get Involved

Boca Raton PAL runs on the support of people who believe in our community’s youth. Every donation and volunteer hour helps keep our programs completely free for any child who wants to take part.

There are many ways to make a difference — give to support equipment and coaching, volunteer your time and mentorship, or partner with us as a local business. However you help, you strengthen the next generation.

In the Spotlight

The strength of Boca Raton PAL’s boxing program starts with its coaches. Among them is Derik Santos, a respected trainer and cornerman who has spent more than two decades developing champions and working alongside some of the biggest names in professional boxing and mixed martial arts. Together, our coaches bring a wealth of experience and a shared commitment to developing disciplined, confident, and resilient young people.

The program is also supported by Boca Raton Police Officer Georgios Savvidis, a Golden Gloves Champion who volunteers his time and expertise in his capacity as a law enforcement officer, helping young athletes build confidence and discipline both inside and outside the ring. Whether an athlete is lacing up gloves for the first time or pursuing championship aspirations, they are surrounded by mentors who invest in every step of their journey.
